Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

WealthyBestie is a Telegram-based expense tracking and organization tool designed to help users log expenses, scan receipts, track budgets, and generate summaries with low friction and user-controlled data storage.

We provide organizational tools only. We are not a bank, broker, accountant, lawyer, or tax advisor, and the Service does not provide financial, investment, accounting, tax, or legal advice.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you are able to form a binding contract with us and are not barred from using the Service under applicable law.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you are accessing the Service from outside Canada, you are responsible for complying with your local laws.

3. Accounts and Access

To use certain features, you may need to connect a Telegram account and, in some cases, third-party services such as Google Sheets, Google Drive, Dropbox, Gmail, or payment providers.

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your account access secure.
• Ensuring the information you provide is accurate and current.
• Reviewing expenses, summaries, exports, and synced data for accuracy.
• Maintaining the security of your connected third-party accounts.

You must not share your access with unauthorized users or allow anyone else to use your account in a way that violates these Terms.

4. Description of the Service

WealthyBestie may allow you to:

• Log expenses using natural language.
• Upload or scan receipts and documents.
• Split personal and business expenses.
• Sync records to your connected Google Sheet.
• Store receipt files in your connected storage account.
• View summaries, budgets, reminders, streaks, and insights.
• Export your data in supported formats.
• Use other features we may add over time.

We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, with or without notice, except where notice is required by law.

5. User Data and Connected Accounts

You control the Google Sheets, Drive, Dropbox, Gmail, and similar accounts you connect to the Service.

By connecting a third-party account, you authorize us to access and process only the data needed to provide the features you enable. You are responsible for the permissions you grant and for revoking access if you no longer want a connection active.

You acknowledge that:

• Data may be written into your own connected storage accounts.
• Some receipt and transaction data may be processed temporarily to complete your request.
• We may retain limited operational logs, settings, and metadata as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. User Content

"User Content" means any information you submit to the Service, including expense entries, receipts, notes, tags, messages, categories, and other content.

You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the rights you grant us under these Terms. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, display, and store User Content only as needed to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, and to fulfill your requests.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and to authorize our processing of it.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any law or regulation.
• Infringe another person's rights.
• Upload harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, interfere with, or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or malicious code.
• Misuse the Service in a way that places unreasonable load on our systems.
• Use the Service to create, process, or store content that is unlawful or prohibited by applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use violates these Terms or creates risk for us, other users, or the Service.

8. Payments, Subscriptions, and Billing

We may offer free and paid plans, including monthly and annual subscriptions and business tiers.

If you purchase a paid plan:

• You agree to pay the fees shown at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
• Monthly subscriptions may be canceled at any time through Telegram or the website, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Annual subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• Fees may be charged through Telegram Stars or other third-party payment processors.
• Taxes may be added where required by law.
• Pricing and plan features may change from time to time, with notice where required by law.

9. Refund Policy

All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. This includes:

• Annual subscription fees.
• Unused time in a billing period.
• Partial use of the Service.
• Fees for upgrades, downgrades, or renewals.
• Fees charged before cancellation takes effect.

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service, please contact hello@wealthybff.com and we will do our best to help make it right.

10. Free Tier Limits

Free plans may include usage limits such as:

• A cap on monthly expense entries.
• A cap on receipt uploads.
• Limits on batch processing or advanced features.
• Limits on exports, imports, or summaries.

We may enforce those limits automatically. If you exceed a limit, we may ask you to upgrade, wait for the next billing cycle, or reduce usage.

11. Beta and Early Access

WealthyBestie may be offered as a beta, early access, or pre-release service, including some features that are not fully finished. You understand and agree that beta features may contain bugs, errors, incomplete functionality, delays, crashes, or unexpected behavior.

Features may change, be delayed, be removed, or stop working at any time. We do not guarantee that beta features will be reliable, available, or free of defects.

You should not rely on the Service, including AI-generated outputs, summaries, nudges, exports, or reports, as the sole source for financial, business, tax, or accounting decisions. You are responsible for reviewing all results before relying on them.

AI-generated categorizations, summaries, or insights are probabilistic and may contain errors.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on third-party services, including Telegram, Google, Dropbox, Supabase, Anthropic, MailerLite, Railway, and payment providers.

Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their outages, or their actions outside our control.

13. AI and Automated Processing

The Service may use automated systems and AI tools to parse text, scan receipts, categorize expenses, detect duplicates, and generate summaries or nudges.

You understand that:

• AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete.
• You should review results before relying on them.
• The Service is not a substitute for professional financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice.
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any expense record, export, summary, or insight produced by the Service.

14. Availability and Changes

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

We may suspend the Service for maintenance, upgrades, or security reasons, modify features or workflows, or remove and discontinue features that are no longer supported. We will try to minimize disruption, but we are not liable for downtime or temporary failures.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and revoke access to connected accounts through your own account settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, we suspect fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity, we are required to do so by law, or continuing to provide the Service would create a risk to us or others.

Upon termination, you may request deletion of data we control, subject to legal obligations and limited operational logs. Data in your connected Google Sheets, Drive, or Dropbox remains under your sole control and will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

16. Intellectual Property

We own the Service, including our branding, interface, software, text, design, and other materials, except for User Content and third-party materials.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our Service or branding without our permission, except as allowed by law.

17. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs.
• We do not guarantee that AI outputs, summaries, categorizations, or receipt scans will be correct.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that defects will be fixed immediately.
• You are responsible for double-checking your input, receipt scans, categories, summaries, and exports before relying on them.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WealthyBestie and 24 Carat Creative Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or CAD $100 if you have not paid anything.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

19. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WealthyBestie and 24 Carat Creative Inc. from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law rules.

You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the courts located in British Columbia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service, by email, or by another reasonable method. Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the changes.
